| Notes  
| This is my first attempt at narrow-band imaging using the Baader Hα filter. The filter has a 7nm bandwidth centered on the 656nm wavelength of Hα emissions. NGC281 emits enormous amounts of light at this frequency thanks to the excitation of hydrogen gas in this star formation region. I combined this narrow band data with standard RGB data by using the HαR:G:B blending technique described by Rob Gendler in this article. |
